This poor mama dog looks like she is at the end of her rope or chain. I personally remember seeing similar figurines in dime stores throughout the 1960s. This set is in remarkably good condition with only a couple areas where the paint has chipped off. Note the nose on one of the puppies and the chin on the other. Very sweet addition to anyone's collection of mid-century figurines or fur animals.
