Vintage VanderBear® Twin Teddy Bear from 1982, designed by Barbara Isenberg for the North American Bear Co. This collectible plush features a detailed Native Americaninspired faux suede outfit with long fringe and woven geometric trim. Costumes were produced by ODL Bauer, a signature detail of early VanderBear releases.
Bear measures approximately 13 inches tall (see ruler photos). Plush fur is even and intact with no bald spots or seam issues. Costume structure, stitching, fringe, elastic, and ties remain functional. Light age-related spotting is present on one sleeve area of the costume (see close-up photo) and has been fully disclosed and reflected in pricing. Original manufacturer and content tags are attached, confirming authenticity and age. Made in Indonesia. A well-preserved early example, ideal for VanderBear collectors, vintage teddy bear enthusiasts, or display.
