Vintage 1940s Whiting & Davis silver-tone metal mesh coin purse or small evening bag, made in the USA. The woven metal mesh body remains bright and reflective overall, with localized wear at the corners, more noticeable on one side. The metal frame and chain show visible finish wear and plating loss consistent with age and use. Interior satin lining is partially detached along one side and shows red cosmetic staining, likely lipstick. Original Whiting & Davis fabric label and frame markings are present.
