Vintage Navajo-style turquoise ring crafted in sterling silver, featuring a vibrant blue-green turquoise cabochon with natural golden matrix. The stone is set in a classic twisted rope bezel with a split shank band, a traditional design commonly seen in Navajo and Southwestern silver jewelry.
The ring is signed with an R or possibly an RS and a symbol above it on the back (symbol possibly a native symbol for Big Mountain but I can’t quite make it out). The maker is unidentified; however, the materials, construction, and design elements are consistent with vintage Navajo turquoise jewelry.
Condition note: a small section of the bezel is missing along the edge. The turquoise stone remains secure in the setting and does not move. This is a cosmetic issue only and is clearly shown in the photos.
The ring measures a true size 5.75 and will slide to a tight size 6 on a mandrel, but fits best as a 5.75.
A strong example of Navajo inspired turquoise sterling silver w excellent color.
