This listing is for a lovely understated/classic vintage garnet and gold beaded necklace. Love the formal/preppy aesthetic of this piece mingling garnet and gold beads of the same size for a rich color contrast.
The necklace measures about 20" in length, the beads are just a bit under 1/4" in diameter. The necklace is in good, but not pristine vintage condition. Some of the gold beads are dented. It also appears that this necklace has been stored hanging, thus its string has stretched some, becoming exposed. the hook part of the clasp is marked 14 K G.
