Vintage Black Jet? Cameo Mourning Brooch West Germany Silver Color Filigree

Absolutely beautiful vintage brooch with an intricate female face surrounded by a filigree frame work. I don't know the exact material, but it was common in this period to use jet to make these cameos for mourning. However, it could be some other man made material. The metal is faded a bit but very cool piece!
