Rare Sommet France metal chocolate candy, ice cream, aspic, or jelly mold in an oval ring shape with a braided rope, layered ladyfinger, or scalloped top.
Antique vintage as-found condition with rust spots and discoloration from age, use, and storage along with missing lining on the inside. About 2" tall, 8" long, and 6" wide; it weighs 9.1 ounces. One side is marked with the dancing dolphin logo, along with 1986, which research shows is the mold number, and the number 26 in a diamond, signifying a date of 1926. This mold is made of a strongly magnetic material, and it has lots of finish loss and rust spots. Please see all photos.
