The first doll in the collection called "Yesterday's Dreams," she is by artist, Pamela Phillips, an award winning artist who is inspired by children of the Victorian era. This 18" porcelain head, bust, arms and legs is the perfect picture of a child from the Victorian era. Elegantly dressed in the style of the period Mary Elizabeth wears a knee-length dress of dusty rose taffeta embellished with inset lace, pearl buttons and soft decorative tucks. Her chestnut hair is caught up in a loose bun, with a frame of ringlets surrounding her sweet face. A treasure in miniature, her baby doll, is reproduced to perfect scale with molded hair and delicately painted eyes. Dressed in the style of authentic Jumeau dolls she wears a drop-waist dress covered with point d'esprit lace and trimmed with tiny ribbon roses.
