The theme of the 2017 limited item is "High-class".
Fujiya was founded in 1910 (Meiji 43), when the founder opened a small Western confectionery shop in Yokohama, known as a "high-class place". They pioneered a new culture in an era when Western confectionery was not yet common.
This is Peko-chan in a typical "high-class style" with a Yagasuri (arrow feather pattern) kimono and a reddish-brown hakama. Please enjoy Peko-chan, who combines loveliness and liveliness!
・The kimono and hakama are carefully made and dressed in Japan one by one.
The kimono uses original fabric printed with Milky, and she is wearing a large red headdress and hair ornaments, and half boots with strings on her feet.
・The flowers on the hair ornaments and obi decorations are made of Tango crepe, and are finished with decorations that have a gentle expression that can only be created by the handwork of Tsumami-zaiku.
・The limited "2017 YEAR'S" logo is printed on the back of the bisque doll.
《Bisque Doll》
It is said to be a word that has changed from the Latin words "bis (twice)" and "cuire (to bake)", and it is a ceramic Doll with a beautiful texture like human skin.
Bisque dolls were born in France in the mid-19th century and were extremely popular with ladies and children.
