포트워스 한인 여성회, 2022 추석 한마당 개최

포트워스 태런 카운티 한인 여성회가 주최한 2022 추석 한마당이 지난 3일 토요일, 포레스트힐 시빅 컨벤션 센터(Forest Hill Civic Convention Center)에서 열렸습니다.

포트워스 한인 여성회는 민족이 명절인 한가위를 앞두고 DFW 지역 한인 동포들의 화합과 한국 문화를 알리기 위한 목적으로 매년 이 행사를 개최했습니다.

하지만 지난 2년간은 팬데믹으로 열리지 못했다가 올해 대면으로 다시 열었습니다.

포트워스 한인 여성회의 유의정 회장은 앞으로도 주류사회와도 하나되는 봉사활동을 이어가겠다고 전했습니다. 유의정 회장입니다.

올해로 5회째를 맞은 추석 한마당 행사에선 송편 만들기,사군자 그리기 체험, 윷놀이, 투호 등의 놀이마당을 비롯해 한국 전통음식 장터를 준비해 행사에 함께한 이들로부터 좋은 반응을 얻었습니다.

또한 2부 순서에서는 사물놀이, 상모돌리기, 포트워스 한국학교 어린이 합창, 태권도 시범, 및 케이팝 댄스 등의 다채로운 공연이 진행됐고, 약 200여명의 한인 동포 및 지역 주민들이 참석해 풍성한 한가위의 의미를 기념했습니다.
