킹카운티 보건당국 제프 두친 박사는 “우리가 지금까지 보지 못했던 훨씬 더 큰 규모의 발병 가능성이 있다”고 밝혔습니다.
킹카운티 보건당국에 따르면, 카운티의 코로나19 양성 반응률이 2%에서 3%로 상승하고 있고, 기존 감염자에 의해 감염될 사람 수가 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났습니다.
두친 박사는 최근 확진자 중 젊은 사람들의 비율이 높다며 “최근 사례의 60%는 40세 미만에서 온 것”이라고 말했습니다.
보건당국은 코로나19 퇴치 노력으로 사우스 킹카운티 지역에 더 많은 검진 장소를 설치할 계획입니다.
보건당국에 따르면, 오는 화요일부터 투퀄라에 새로운 코로나19 검진 장소가 개설되고 페더럴 웨이 검진 장소는 다음 주에 오픈할 예정입니다.
